For over 100 years we at Gebrüder Mönnig in Markneukirchen have been making woodwind instruments using precision handmade craftmanship with the goal of supporting beginners just learning how to play as well as offering custom made products to very demanding, top level professional and soloists all over the world.

 

In the production of our instruments we use only the best materials and wood well-seasoned over many years in a natural atmoshpere. In the process of production our primary orientation is always the standard of top quality with a likewise high degree of precision and reliablity. To realize our own high standards as well as the expectations of our customers we utilize an optimal combination of the most modern production tools with the art of traditional, irreplaceable hand craftmanship that has been passed on from generation to generation and is continually refined.

Right in the heart of Germany, in the upper Vogtland, the MUSIC TOWN MARKNEUKIRCHEN is found wich takes pride in having been world-famous as the Centre of German Orchstra Instrument making since 1655.

"Generations, Stories & Faces" is a collection of short movies which showcases world-famous instrument makers and gives a deep personal insight in their craft.
